Arsenal fans excited by Smith-Rowe potential

It would be fair to say that the Arsenal supporters are excited about the potential of Under-17 World Cup winner Emile Smith-Rowe.

The attacker was in fine form for Arsenal’s Under-18 team on Monday night as he scored in their 5-0 win over Blackpool.

The 17-year-old has netted once and provided two assists in nine appearances for Arsenal’s Under-23 team this season, and it is understood that the teenager is already attracting admiring glances from first-team boss Arsene Wenger.

Wenger might not be at Arsenal for too long, but the Gunners fans are hoping that Smith-Rowe proves to be a big part of their future.

Arsenal have not had too many youngsters come through their ranks in recent seasons, but Smith-Rowe, who mainly operates in a left midfield position, looks a fine talent, and certainly one capable of making the first team.
